Come shine Your light
Into this waiting heart

O Wisdom speak Your promise in a soft and tender voice
Bind all that is broken in our world
Amidst all the chaos, clutter, and all the noise
Teach us what we need to know

O Lord You judge with mercy, the rich and the poor
As vowed to Moses in the burning bush
The fire of faith within us calls us to love more
Forgive us when we fall short

O Root of Jesse heralds the coming of the Lord
A promise of fruit upon the vine
